Delinquent - A 3 piece hard rock band from the South Coast of NSW. The band formed in 1998 and played thier first live performance under the name Rebirth on new years eve 98. Since then it has been a total rollercoaster, with a bassist for each year the band has existed. However when Dale Green joined the band last year for a support act for Motor Ace in Nowra, something clicked, and the band has stayed that way since. Thier style is a cross between early 90's bands such as Nirvana, and newer heavy acts like Deftones. The band also have a strong influence from local heros Silverchair, Sunk Loto and Grinspoon, bands who they claim to be much better than anything america has to offer. The band are set to go to the studio for the first time to record what will hopefully become an EP in March. The recording being submitted to this competition is a live recording from 2001, which was done for a compilation CD of south coast artists. Enjoy!
