Anon are musically one of Wollongong’s more ambitious bands. Not satisfied with just blasting your ears with driving electric guitars, their goal is to create music where melody, texture and atmosphere are the focus. Anon’s style is best described as acoustic rock, their sound broadened by keys, strings and driving rhythms. Their songs range from the quick and catchy, the soft and sweet to the dark and moody. Anon was founded in 2001, and found early success placing 2nd in the 2002 MusicOz Acoustic and Listener’s Choice categories.
